COVID 19. We at PMS are constantly reviewing our Business Continuity Plan (BCP) to improve our ability to respond to any possible impact. This includes how we will minimise any operational disruption to the business. We will continually review this and have implemented certain capacity for remote access working and subject to Government guidelines, remain available for support and assistance wherever possible.

New vehicle options and availability

Good news... Well, hopefully at least. There is a brand new VW Transporter . With VW ending production of their iconic Transporter range, a particularly popular WAV base vehicle there has been a huge void in the WAV arena.

The NEW VW Transporter, as part of a Ford-Volkswagen Alliance is a shared platform with the recently launched Ford Transit / Tourneo, manufactured at the Ford Otosan’s Gölcük plant in Kocaeli, Turkey. Watch this space for further news.

The Ford Tourneo Custom, is already available as a WAV with onboard lifts and will soon be available with ramp access, for 2nd row passengers and later in the year, it is anticipated there could be a driver and passenger up front wheelchair travel option. Eventually, there could be a side lift option too for front wheelchair passenger and driver positions.

Expect lengthy lead times for all vehicle availability, 6 -12 months for the Ford wouldn't be unusual. Mercedes V Class WAV availability remains at around 4 - 6 months including the conversion time. There are no times for VW Vans availability as yet. Please call for details.

Rental vehicle update -June 2025

Good news... Whilst rental vehicles remain thin on the ground, currently, we do have a few options available. If you do have a requirement for immediate, accessible transport, please contact us at your earliest convenience and we will identify the best available vehicle to suit your needs.
